Welcome to Clip This Look. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website clipthislook.com, the Clip This Look Chrome extension, the Clip This Look iOS app, our associated social media accounts, and any related services (collectively, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by Clip This Look LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Clip This Look is a creator commerce platform that enables fashion curators (“Creators”) to discover, curate, and share fashion products from third-party retailers. Creators earn commissions when consumers purchase products through their affiliate links. The Platform also serves consumers who browse and shop curated fashion content.

Important: Clip This Look is not a retailer. We do not sell, ship, or fulfill any products. All purchases are made directly with third-party retailers, and those transactions are governed by the retailer’s own terms and policies.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Creator Accounts

To use the Platform as a Creator, you must create an account. When you create an account:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You agree to promptly update your information if it changes
  • You must notify us immediately at support@clipthislook.com if you believe your account has been compromised

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform or other users.

4. Creator Commissions and Payments

4.1 Commission Structure

Creators earn commissions when consumers purchase products through their affiliate links. Commission rates are determined by the third-party affiliate network and the retailer. Clip This Look takes a platform fee of:

  • Free plan: 25% of earned commissions (you keep 75%)
  • Pro plan ($29/month): 15% of earned commissions (you keep 85%)

4.2 Payment Terms

Commission payments are subject to minimum payout thresholds and processing times determined by our affiliate network partners. We do not guarantee any specific level of earnings. Commissions may be adjusted or reversed if a consumer returns a purchase.

4.3 Pro Plan

The Pro plan is billed monthly at $29/month. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period, at which point your account reverts to the Free plan. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Purchases

5.1 How Affiliate Links Work

The Platform contains links to third-party retailer websites. These links are affiliate links, meaning that the Creator and Clip This Look may earn a commission if a consumer clicks on a link and subsequently makes a purchase on the retailer’s website. This comes at no additional cost to the consumer.

5.2 Third-Party Transactions

When a consumer clicks an affiliate link and leaves the Platform:

  • The consumer is entering into a transaction directly with the third-party retailer
  • The retailer’s terms of service, privacy policy, return policy, and other policies govern the purchase
  • Clip This Look has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, products, services, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party retailer
  • Any issues with a purchase — including returns, exchanges, defects, shipping, billing disputes, or customer service — must be resolved directly with the retailer

5.3 Affiliate Disclosure

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, we disclose that Clip This Look earns commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on the Platform. We participate in affiliate programs including, but not limited to, ShopLTK, ShopMy, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, Impact, Skimlinks, Awin, Partnerize, FlexOffers, Sovrn, Admitad, AvantLink, and Collective Voice.

Creators are responsible for complying with FTC disclosure requirements when sharing affiliate links on external platforms (e.g., social media). Creators must clearly disclose their material connection to the products they promote.

6. Chrome Extension and iOS App

The Clip This Look Chrome extension and iOS app allow Creators to clip products from third-party retailer websites. By using these tools:

  • You agree to use them only for their intended purpose of curating fashion products
  • You will not use them to scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk from any website
  • You acknowledge that product data (images, descriptions, prices) belongs to the respective retailers
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of any website from which you clip products

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The Platform and its original content — including but not limited to the Clip This Look name, logo, branding, website design, layout, text, editorial commentary, and any original graphics — are the property of Clip This Look and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Creator Content

Creators retain ownership of any original content they create on the Platform (such as collection names, descriptions, and curated selections). By posting content on the Platform, you grant Clip This Look a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

7.3 Third-Party Content

Product images and descriptions displayed on the Platform are sourced from third-party retailers and designers. These materials remain the property of their respective owners. We display them for the purpose of promoting their products through our affiliate partnerships.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Clip This Look, another Creator, or any other person or entity
  • Manipulate affiliate links, commissions, or click tracking in any way
  • Use fake accounts, bots, or automated means to generate clicks or purchases
  • Post misleading, deceptive, or false product descriptions or reviews
  • Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious material
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers or networks connected to the Platform

9. Social Media Publishing

Clip This Look enables Creators to publish content to Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, and Pinterest. When you use these features:

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your social media content complies with the terms of service of each platform
  • You must include appropriate FTC disclosures (e.g., #ad, #affiliate, #sponsored) when sharing affiliate links
  • You grant Clip This Look permission to publish content to your connected social media accounts on your behalf
  • We are not responsible for any actions taken by social media platforms against your account

10. AI Product Scout

AI Product Scout (available on the Pro plan) uses artificial intelligence to suggest products based on your clipping history and your audience’s purchasing patterns. By using AI Product Scout:

  • You acknowledge that product suggestions are generated by AI and may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-suggested products before publishing
  • We do not guarantee any specific level of earnings from AI-suggested products

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clip This Look disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the Platform
  • Warranties regarding any specific level of commission earnings

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Clip This Look, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Platform
  • Any products purchased through affiliate links on the Platform
  • Any loss of commissions or earnings
  • Any content or information obtained from the Platform
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
  • Any third-party conduct on the Platform

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) or the total commissions paid to you in the preceding twelve (12) months, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clip This Look and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of any third party
  • Any content you submit or publish through the Platform
  • Your failure to comply with FTC disclosure requirements

14. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to: legal@clipthislook.com

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be conducted in Palm Beach County, Florida.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, you waive any right to a jury trial.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease
  • Any pending commissions below the minimum payout threshold may be forfeited
  • Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date and, for registered Creators, by email. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clip This Look regarding your use of the Platform.
